THE WORLD’S FIRST AD ATTACED BY POLLEN

In an effort to monopolize SOV in advance of pollen allergy season, we sought to create a reminder adthat would make news while simultaneously reinforcing the image of “Rohto Alguard = pollen defense.” We built a bus stop ad containing a diorama of the Japanese archipelago, gradually filling it with yellow grains that looked exactly likepollen. This graphic visualization of Japan’s impending submersion in pollen broke new ground for bus stop advertising, generated significant news coverage, and contributed to Alguard revenues.
