HOT SPOTS JAPAN
This was a project to create a movie targeted at inbound tourists to Japan, introducing the appeal of the prefectures in the Tohoku, Hokuriku, Chugoku, Shikoku and Kyushu regions and Tokyo. The four themes were scenery, cuisine, experience and night-life. Over a year, shooting was conducted throughout the country at 78 attractive locations utilizing camera techniques that would allow viewers to feel they are experiencing the spots themselves. With logos and art direction in a pop-art style, the aim was to convey the fun of traveling in Japan.
